Mini update – big progrès

Mini-update on Xavier :

• First visit of one and a half hour with mommy to the home daycare today. Met the other kids and his new babysitter Jinny.
• Waved bye bye with his hand for the first time yesterday – à la Hitler, without the silly hand waggling – to his grand-mother Manon and grand-father Maurice.
• … Started walking! Within less than the last week, he’s made great progress and can now walk across a room. Not quite sure if the best part is watching his ever-improving walking, or the big proud smile he flashes at us whenever he’s managed it. We’ll try to post a video reasonably soon.

Mini-update sur Xavier :

• Première visite d’une heure et demi avec maman chez la gardienne en milieu familial aujourd’hui. Il a rencontré les autres enfants et sa nouvelle gardienne Jinny.
• A fait un bye bye de la main pour la première fois hier – à la Hitler, sans le remuage de main folichon – à sa grand-maman Manon et son grand-papa Maurice.
• … A commencé à marcher! En moins de la dernière semaine, il a fait de grands progrès et peut maintenant traverser une pièce en marchant. Nous ne sommes pas tout à fait certains s’il est plus amusant de regarder ses pas qui s’améliorent sans cesse, ou le gros sourire fier qu’il nous envoit à toutes les fois qu’il réussit bien son entreprise. Nous essaierons de mettre en ligne un vidéo raisonnablement bientôt.
