I’m late in posting this, but our friend Geneviève finally gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Wednesday the 30th of August. If you’ll remember, her labour was induced tuesday morning… Sadly, her labour ended up in C-section the following morning at 3h45am. Fortunately, however, the baby is healthy (and a cutie) and mom is recovering. We went to visit them wednesday and thursday.
They named her Romane. She weighted 9 lbs 2 oz (they were expecting a 7 lbs baby), and was 21,5″ long. I took a picture of the baby, but will leave them the honour of posting a picture online first.

J’ai du retard dans mes posts, mais notre amie Geneviève a finalement accouché d’une jolie petite fillette, mercredi le 30 août. Vous vous rappellerez qu’elle avait une induction le mardi matin… Malheureusement, son accouchement a dû se terminer en césarienne le lendemain matin à 3h45am. Heureusement, par contre, le bébé est en santé (et toute coquine) et la maman se remet tranquillement. Nous sommes allés les visiter mercredi et jeudi.
Ils l’ont nommée Romane. Elle pesait 9 lbs 2 oz (ils s’attendaient à un bébé de 7 lbs), et faisait 21,5″ de long. J’ai pris une photo de la petite puce, mais leur laisserai l’honeur de mettre la première photo en ligne.
